David Smythe
David Smythe brings more than 20 years of experience in the practice of architecture. He has worked collaboratively with KPMB Architects since 1996, joining the firm in 2000 and becoming an Associate in 2011. David has been a key member of the Construction Administration teams for a number of KPMB’s institutional projects and offers extensive experience providing on-site supervision for the delivery of design excellence. As associate-in-charge of construction administration for the Royal Conservatory’s TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning, David was awarded a Certificate of Excellence from the Toronto Construction Association in recognition of his contribution to the successful management and delivery of the project. His project experience also includes the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, Orchestra Hall for the Minnesota Orchestra, and 20 Washington Road at Princeton University.
